Int'l metallurgy exhibition kicks off in Iran's capital

The 22nd International Exhibition of Metallurgy, also known as IRAN METAFO 2025, has opened in Tehran, bringing together one of the largest gatherings in the metals and metallurgical sector in West Asia. The multi-day event, held at the Tehran International Permanent Fairground, runs through Nov 20–23, 2025, with officials and industry leaders inaugurating the fair to showcase its importance for the region’s industrial cooperation and trade.

The exhibition features a wide global footprint, with over 700 domestic and foreign companies participating. According to organizers, participants hail from around 21 countries including China, Germany, Italy, Japan and Türkiye, highlighting the event’s international relevance for metallurgy, mining, and steel sectors.
